Summary:The invention relates to a disengageable hinge assembly comprising a first end plate (2) rotatably connected with outer teeth (45), a second end plate (3), a control unit (8) for rotating a cam mechanism and rotating said outer teeth (45) in said inner teeth (55), a rotatably actuatable disengagement member (6) and at least one radially slidably mounted disengagement bush (7), the rotation of said disengagement member (6) radially translating the bush (7) to shift the hinge assembly from a locked configuration wherein the bush (7) rotatably connects said inner teeth (55) and said second end plate (3), to a first unlocked configuration wherein said inner teeth (55) and said second end plate (3) are disconnected, each bush (7) comprising a lug (71) capable of moving in said first unlocked configuration along a first semi-closed guide track provided on said second end plate (3) and extending across a predetermined angular sector.
