Summary:The invention relates to, among others, an electric short-circuiting device (10) with an electric contact arrangement, having the following: a first and a second contact (20, 30) which are mutually spaced, a moving contact piece (50) which leaves the two contacts (20, 30) separate in a separation position and connects the first and the second contact (20, 30) together in a contact position, and an electrically triggerable drive device (60) for moving the moving contact piece (50) from the separation position into the contact position. According to the invention, the electrically triggerable drive device (60) is galvanically isolated from the first and the second contact (20, 30) by means of an insulating device (100) which consists of an insulating material or at least has an insulating material.
