Summary:The invention relates to a compressed-air supply device (1) for vehicle compressed-air systems, comprising, as components or assemblies, at least one air-drying device (2) having an air-drying cartridge (4), a valve device (26) having a multi-circuit protection valve and optionally further valves, a pressure limiter, open-loop and closed-loop control electronics (60), and a plurality of housings or housing components (6, 20, 22, 36, 62), in which the previously mentioned components or assemblies are accommodated. According to the invention, at least one housing or housing component (20, 22, 36, 70) of the plurality of housings or housing components is produced of plastic. Thus, the compressed-air supply device has a lower weight and is easier to produce.
