OUTER SOLE FOR FOOTWEAR, COMPRISING DAMPING STUDS

The invention relates to an outer sole (1) for footwear, having in its heel part (10) several housings (100) which each have an opening (100a) in a lower surface (101) of the sole that is intended to be in contact with the ground, and several damping studs (102) which are positioned in said housings...

Summary:The invention relates to an outer sole (1) for footwear, having in its heel part (10) several housings (100) which each have an opening (100a) in a lower surface (101) of the sole that is intended to be in contact with the ground, and several damping studs (102) which are positioned in said housings (100) at a rate of at least one damping stud (102) per housing (100) and which, when they are not deformed, protrude partially from said lower surface (101), each damping stud (102) being surrounded around all or part of its periphery by said lower surface (101) and being elastically deformable so as to be able to be compressed at least partially inside the corresponding housing (100). Each damping stud (102) has, at the apex of its protruding part (102a), a surface (102b) for coming into contact with the ground, said surface (102b) being continued around its entire periphery and towards the inside of the stud (102) by a concave curved surface (102c) which is elastically deformable and which allows the damping stud (102) to be squashed with a reduction in the curvature of said concave curved surface (102c).
