Summary:The invention relates to a device (14) for damping torsional oscillations, with a single resonance frequency, comprising: a primary component (15), and a secondary component (25) that can rotate about an axis (X) in relation to the primary component (15) counter to an elastic return force; and a hysteresis generation system (40, 41) for the movement of the secondary component (25) in relation to the primary component (15), said system comprising at least one ramp (40) borne by a part (42, 62, 72) solidly connected to the secondary component (25) and engaging frictionally with a counter-ramp (41) during the rotation of the secondary component (25) in relation to the primary component (15).
