Summary:There is provided a light-emitting device comprising an anode, a cathode, a first organic layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, and a second organic layer disposed between the anode and the first organic layer and adjacent to the first organic layer, wherein the first organic layer comprises a phosphorescent compound represented by the formula (1), and the second organic layer comprises a crosslinked body formed from a polymer compound having a crosslinkable group, and the average number of the crosslinkable groups per 1000 in molecular weight of the polymer compound is 0.5 or more.
