A dispersion and supply apparatus 20 includes an acquisition unit 64 that acquires a load amount of an article on a dispersion table 22, a calculation unit 104 that calculates a deviation in a loading state of the article based on the load amount acquired by the acquisition unit 64, and a control unit 106 that controls a driving unit 30 such that a conveying direction of the article on the dispersion table 22 is changed based on the deviation in the loading state of the article calculated by the calculation unit 104.
