Summary: | An object of the present invention is to produce a wire material for use in a net material, which has durability against physical damage, in which corrosion due to salt can be inhibited, and whose adverse effects on organisms can be minimized. The present invention provides a multilayer resin-coated metal wire including: a resin-coated wire; and an ion-releasing layer provided on a surface of the resin-coated wire. In the above described resin-coated wire, a plated wire obtained by providing a zinc-containing plating layer on the surface of an iron wire, is coated with a protective layer including an ionomer resin, with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween. Further, the above described ion-releasing layer includes a resin-metal mixed material obtained by mixing a metal-containing powder capable of releasing metal ions which exhibit organism repellency, with a base resin which is a polyolefin or a polyester. |
