Summary:A multilayer metallized cast film which includes a first layer which comprises an ethylene-based polymer having a density greater than 0.94 g/cc and a melt index less than or equal to 1.3 g/10 min; and a second layer having an interior surface and an exterior surface and which comprises an ethylene-based polymer having a density greater than 0.94 g/cc and a melt index greater than or equal to 2.0 g/10 min, wherein the exterior surface of the second layer faces away from the first layer, wherein the second layer further comprises a metal and/or metal oxide layer deposited on the exterior surface is provided. Also provided is a packaging comprising the multilayer metallized cast film.
