Summary:A non-contact dispenser for automatically dispensing liquid media comprises a metering device (12; 212) and a triggering device (22; 222); the metering device (12; 212) includes a mechanically actuated lifting displacement pump (14) comprising an actuation mechanism (36; 236), and the triggering device (22; 222) includes an actuation element (43; 143; 243) designed to actuate the actuation mechanism (36; 236). The triggering device (22; 222) comprises a sensor (45; 245) and an adjusting mechanism which can move the actuation element (43; 143; 243) from a basic position into a triggering position in accordance with the signal captured by the sensor (45; 245).
