Summary:The invention relates to a wet-rotor-motor pump, comprising a stator (5) surrounded by a motor housing (4) and a rotor (7) separated from the stator (5) by a can (6). The rotor runs in the rotor space formed by the can (6) and is connected to the pump impeller (3) by means of a shaft (8). The motor housing (4) has a motor housing flange (12) at an end of the motor housing facing the pump impeller (3), which motor housing flange is directed inward and is covered by a protective layer (18) at least on the side facing the pump impeller (3).
