Summary:The invention relates to an open end rotor spinning device (1) with a spinning rotor (3), which is mounted with its rotor shaft (4) in the gore of a support disk bearing (5) and is axially positioned by means of a magnetic bearing device (18), and a drive and storage device 32) for the rotary application of at least one of the pairs of support disks (7) of the support disk bearing (5). According to the invention, the magnetic bearing device (18) is arranged between the front (7A) and rear (7B) supporting disks for the axial fixing of the rotor shaft (4) in the region of the gusset of the support disk bearing (5).
