Summary:There is provided a case (120) for accommodating an electrode assembly (110) of a secondary battery (100) and a secondary battery (100) comprising such case (120) and an electrode assembly (110) including a first electrode plate (111) having a first electrode tab (111 c), a second electrode plate (112) having a second electrode tab (112c) and a separator (113) between the first electrode plate (111) and the second electrode plate (112).The case (120) includes a body (121) accommodating the electrode assembly (110), a cap plate (122) covering a top portion of the body (121), and a bottom plate (123) covering a bottom portion of the body (121), a first electrode terminal (131) electrically connected to the first electrode tab (111 c), a second electrode terminal (132) electrically connected to the second electrode tab (112c) through the case (120), and a connection plate (125) electrically connected to the second electrode tab (112c) and configured to bend away from the bottom plate (123), the connection plate (125) being on the bottom plate (123).
