A method comprises: receiving, from a client device, a request for content including a search query submitted through the client device; after receiving the request: identifying, by one or more data processing apparatus, a content item to be provided responsive to the request based on the search query; selecting, by the one or more data processing apparatus from feed data, multiple data entries that are available to be inserted into different portions of the content item; inserting, by the one or more data processing apparatus, content specified by the multiple data entries into the content item at two or more customizable portions of the content item; and providing, to the client device, the content item that presents the content specified by the multiple data entries at the two or more customizable portions of the content item.
