Summary:A harrow attachment (400, 500) for a tillage implement is disclosed. The harrow attachment (400, 500), comprising: a harrow drawbar (300, 300') configured to be mountable to a frame member (130) of a tillage implement; at least one harrow rank having a rank bar (410, 510) supporting a plurality of harrowing tools; a pivot link (450, 452, 540, 542) pivotally coupling the at least one harrow rank to the drawbar (300, 300') to allow the at least one harrow rank to trip by pivoting upward toward the drawbar (300, 300') from a home position in which the at least one harrow rank is farthest away from the drawbar (300, 300'); a downforce spring (560) coupled to the drawbar (300, 300') and configured to be in a fixed length state when the at least one harrow rank is in the home position and in a variable length state when the at least one harrow rank is tripped, when in the variable length state the downforce spring applies a biasing force to the at least one harrow rank away from the drawbar (300, 300'), and when in the fixed length state the biasing force is removed; and an adjustment mechanism coupling the downforce spring (560) to one of the at least one harrow rank and the pivot link (450, 452, 540, 542) in one of a plurality of adjustment locations (570A - 570C) in each of which the at least one harrow rank is in the home position and the downforce spring (560) is in the fixed length state. Further, a tillage implement with such harrow attachment (400, 500) is disclosed.
