Summary:A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. Particularly, disclosed is a method of switching an object displayed on each region in a mobile terminal having a display unit including a first display region and a second display region. The present invention includes a display unit including a first display region and a second display region located on one side of the first display region, a sensing unit, and a controller controlling the display unit and the sensing unit, the controller displays at least one preset object on the second display region, the controller senses a first input signal while an application is run, the controller displays at least one object corresponding to the application on the first display region, the controller displays the at least one object corresponding to the application on the second display region in response to the first input signal.
