Summary:A prosthesis delivery device (100) comprises a proximal end (103) and a distal end (101), a prosthesis retention section (149) at the proximal end (103), and a prosthesis (200) retained on the prosthesis retention section (149). The prosthesis (200) has a proximal end (202) releasably attached at the prosthesis retention section (149) and a distal end (204) releasably attached at the prosthesis retention section (149). A sheath (110) is slidably disposed over the prosthesis (200). A delivery handle (102) near the distal end (101) the delivery device comprises a rotatable inner cannula (116) having a cannula lumen (118) and cannula handle (108). The cannula handle (108) is rotatable with the inner cannula (116). Further, a positioner handle (106) is releasably engaged with the cannula handle (108). Rotation of the inner cannula (116) releases the proximal end (202) of the prosthesis (200) from the delivery device (100) and withdrawal of the sheath (110) from over the prosthesis (200) releases the distal end (202) of the prosthesis (200) from the delivery device (100).
