Summary:There are large amounts of switched-mode power supplies used for supplying energy for electrical devices. This brings the need to improve the efficiency of the power conversion. The present switched mode converter of electrical power has a secondary winding in a secondary circuit, which at a first phase both accumulates and releases energy to load, or only accumulates energy. At a second phase the secondary winding is connected to input voltage and/or releases the accumulated energy in the secondary circuit in order to increase power release of the primary winding to the load. The solution increases both the output energy and efficiency of the converter.
