Summary:The present invention provides a rotary electric machine that enables reductions in cost and also enables productivity to be improved, by eliminating need for separate current-carrying members for coil connection and for an operation of gluing coil terminals. A rotary electric machine according to the present invention includes: a rotor 7; a stator 11 that includes: an annular stator core 12 that is disposed so as to surround the rotor 7; and a plurality of concentrated winding coils 14a that are wound onto the stator core 12; a holder 20 that includes an annular holder portion 21 in which a groove 21a is formed on one surface so as to extend circumferentially, the holder 20 being disposed on a first axial end of the stator 11 such that a second surface of the holder portion 21 is oriented toward the stator 11; and a plurality of connecting terminals 25 that are held by the holder 20, coil terminals 26 of the plurality of concentrated winding coils 14a each extending outward from the concentrated winding coils 14a, being led around circumferentially through the groove 21a, and being connected to connecting terminals 25 that are subject to connection therewith.
