Summary:The invention relates to a glow plug comprising a heating rod (11), a plug body (13) having a receiving housing (14) for the heating rod, a distal flexible membrane between the heating rod and the plug body, and a load sensor (17). The flexible membrane comprises a flexible collar (26) which extends radially orthogonally relative to the heating rod. A radial extremity portion (58) of said flexible membrane is welded to a fixing ring (15) for fixing to the plug body.
