Summary:The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing metal components comprising the following steps; a. obtaining a metal powder composition comprising a particulate lubricant and a metal powder, wherein the metal powder particles have a size of less than 75µm, and the lubricant particles have a size of less than 25µm; b. compacting said metal powder composition in a mould to a density of at least 7.3g/cm 3 to produce a green component; c. sintering the green component at a temperature of at least 1300°C during at least 1 hr to produce a sintered component; d. treating the sintered component without under a pressure of at least 900MPa during an elevation of the temperature to 1100°C; thereby obtaining a metal component having >99% of the theoretical density.
