Summary:The invention relates to a drive (1) comprising a piston machine in particular in the form of a combustion engine, said drive having a device for efficiently reducing alternating torques produced by rotational nonuniformities on the basis of the engine speed- and torque pulsation of the combustion engine and the mass forces created by the reciprocating motion of the piston and the connecting rod during operation. For this purpose, a crankshaft (2) of the combustion engine carries a sun wheel (3) of a planetary gearbox (4). In a per se known manner, the planetary gearbox (4) also comprises three planet gears (5, 6, 7) and a ring gear (8). In the embodiment shown, the planet gear (5) is used to drive a balancing shaft (9) which can be driven thereby in the opposite direction. In order to be able to drive, in addition to this balancing shaft (9), also another balancing shaft (10) in the same direction of rotation as the crankshaft (2), the ring gear (8) has, in addition to inner teeth (11) which engage with the planet gears (5, 6, 7), outer teeth (12) for a toothed wheel (13) which drives the second balancing shaft (10), wherein the number of teeth of the inner toothing (11) and of the outer toothing (12) match.
