Summary:The invention concerns a rolling bearing (1) comprising an inner ring (5), an outer ring (3) and rolling elements (7) arranged between the inner (5) and the outer ring (3), at least one of the inner (5) and outer (3) rings comprising a housing (34 ; 35 ; 55), two half-raceways (30, 32 ; 50, 52) mounted in the housing (34 ; 35 ; 55), each of the half-raceways comprising a contact surface (300 ; 320) adapted to make a contact with the rolling elements (7), and at least one pre-stressing element (36 ; 38, 39 ; 58, 59) arranged between the housing (34 ; 35 ; 54) and one of the half-raceways (30, 32 ; 50, 52). The half-raceways are formed by frustoconical rings and the contact surfaces (300; 320) of the half-raceways are frustoconical.
