Summary:The invention relates to a system for being able to optimally utilize the energy of a rather low, variable water flow, comprising a turbine (1) having guide vanes (13), a generator (2) having a rotor (11) and a stator and a regulating device (21). The rotor (11) is designed as an external rotor and has a plurality of permanent magnets (17). The stator is designed having a plurality of stator teeth (14) and coils (13). The number of stator teeth (14) is greater or smaller by 2 than the number of permanent magnets (17). The stator (12) has stator bridges (24) between the coils, wherein the stator has half as many coils (13) as stator teeth and stator bridges (24) together. The coils (13) are designed to be attachable to the stator teeth (14). The stator (12) has ventilation holes (18, 19) for cooling. At least one part of the ventilation holes (18) are designed for cooling the generator in the stator bridges (24).
