Summary:The present invention relates to an assembly process of a heat exchanger (6) for household appliances (1). The process comprises the steps of providing a plurality of thermal exchange sheets (30) having longitudinal edges (50), opposite to each other, and transversal edges (60), also opposite to each other and transversally placed to the longitudinal edges (50), providing a plurality of beams (40) and engaging one or more pairs of beams (40) at longitudinal edges (50) of overlapped thermal exchange sheets (30) and one or more pairs of beams (40) with transversal edges (60) of overlapped thermal exchange sheets (30), defining a plurality of fluid passages oriented in a first direction and a plurality of fluid passages oriented in a second direction transversal to the first direction.
