Summary:A valve assembly including an actuated valve and a sensor module is disclosed. The actuated valve includes a body defining a chamber, a first fluid port coupled to the chamber, and a second fluid port coupled to the chamber. The actuated valve further includes a movable stem disposed at least partially within the chamber, the movable stem having a closed position and an open position relative to the chamber, and an actuator coupled to the stem. The sensor module is attached to the actuated valve, and the sensor module includes a microcontroller, and at least one sensor coupled to the microcontroller, the at least one sensor providing a signal associated with a status of the actuated valve.
