Summary: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drilling method and a jig for drilling which are capable of forming through-holes in an arbitrarily defined hole arrangement, forming the through-holes precisely, and preventing the occurrence of troubles such as the breakage of a drilling tool, and provide a heat exchanger. A drilling method for forming a plurality of through-holes in a plate member (80) using a machine tool (1) having a drilling tool (16) provided with a carbide drill is provided with: a first step for securing at least one jig (2) having a clearance hole (22) onto a bed (10) of the machine tool (1); a second step for mounting the plate member (80) onto said at least one jig (2) and securing the plate member (80) to the bed (10) by a clamp (4); a third step for operating the machine tool such that the tip of the drilling tool (16) that has passed through the plate member (80) is inserted into the clearance hole to form a first through-hole (81) among the plurality of through-holes at a position corresponding to the clearance hole (22) of the plate member (80); a fourth step for inserting a securing member (34) through the first through-hole (81) to secure the plate member (80) to said at least one jig (2) by the securing member (34); and a fifth step for, after the fourth step, operating the machine tool (1) to form a second through-hole (82) other than the first through-hole (81) among the plurality of through-holes. |
