A cooling-air passage (34) of fastening section, has inlet opening (35) and outlet openings (37,38) arranged in lateral surface (32) and/or on top side. The fastening section is arranged on supporting structure such that cooling-air passage corresponds to cooling-air channel arranged in supporting structure. An independent claim is included for method for cooling the supporting structure of heat shield block.
