Summary:The invention relates to a motorized centrifugal pump with a motor shaft which carries the motor rotor, and the pump rotor at one end and is located together with the motor rotor in a tube-like or pot-like can to be surrounded by the pumped medium, wherein the motor shaft is guided by at least one radial bearing, wherein the internal space of the can is closed to the pump chamber by a rotary seal, which has a fixed ring washer enclosing the shaft and directly or indirectly connected to the motor or pump housing, on which washer there lies a wave washer non-rotatably mounted on the shaft with an annular contact surface to form an axial bearing along with the ring washer.
