The control system (64) is configured to receive input from a user control (38) of the bed (10), the user control (38) being configured to control a feature of the mobile lift (150), if the mobile lift (150) is connected to the bed (10), and communicate with the mobile lift (150) to cause the feature of the mobile lift (150) to be controlled in accordance with the user control (38) of the bed (10).
