Summary: | The invention concerns a contact module (10) operating with three fluids, air, coolant fluid and a liquid phase, said contact module comprising a plurality of plates (1) within which conduits are made for the refrigerant fluid, for example frigorific evaporating fluid, said plurality of plates (1) being disposed in a parallel way thus forming a succession of pairs of plates, the contactor being characterized in that within at least a pair of plates there are:
- a first and a second hydrophobic, planar membrane (3) separated and supported by spacing and support means (4) configured (5) to allow the passage of process air perpendicularly to the direction of main extension of said pair of plates (1),
- between said first and second hydrophobic, planar membrane and the respective external surface of said two plates (1) a space is present for the flow of the liquid phase,
at the opposite ends of said plurality of plates (1) being placed respective collectors (2) for the collection of the refrigerant fluid and the liquid phase. |
