The cold apparatus has a storage compartment surrounding an inner container (1). A door (4) is mounted on two axially displaceable pins (12) at an equaled narrow side. Two sockets for the pins are arranged at the inner container. Each socket is provided with a low backlash-containing detent position (34) and an intense backlash-containing detent position in which the associated pins are locked. One of the pin such as a spindle is in low backlash-containing detent position, such that a pivotal axis defined by the door between an open and a closed orientations is pivotable.
