Summary:A stator for a brushless motor with outer rotor. The stator includes a stator core (1,2), a winding (4) and a bobbin (3). The stator core is made out of a yoke part (2) and separated tooth parts (1). Each tooth part (1) includes an engaging portion (13). Each tooth part (1) comprises a stack of silicon-steel sheets. The bobbin (3) is sleeved onto the tooth part (1) and the winding (4) is wound around the bobbin (3). The yoke part (2) is made out of a powder comprising magnetically permeable material and it includes a mounting hole (21) in its centre. The yoke part (2) includes further a plurality of alternating lug bosses (22) and engaging grooves (23) on its outer circumference. The engaging portion (13) of the tooth part (1) fits into a engaging groove (23).
