Summary: | The invention refer to a strain of Pseudoxanthomonas mexicana P32 NCAIM (P) B 001414, which present superior characteristics of: degradation of aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons in different environments, including soil, including in combination with alfalfa plant roots; produce biofilms in vitro and in situ; stimulates germination of alfalfa seeds and alfalfa seedlings growth, in controlled conditions; presents antagonism against phytopathogenic fungi form soil and protects alfalfa plants against damping-off produced by these; shown innocuity on Galleria mellonella test, being non-pathogenic for metazoa. The controlled-release composition based on P. mexicana P32 strain consists of 76 parts oatmeal flour, 4.8 parts ethyl esters of fatty acids, 4 parts polyvinyl alcohol, 3.5 parts lecithin, 0.75 parts potassium soap, 0.45 parts glycerol, 0.4 parts of fats from rapeseed oil, the rest till 100 parts water, and min. 10 8 cfu/g P . mexicana P32. |
