Summary:The present invention relates to a method for adapting the sensitivity of ultrasonic sensors, wherein the sensitivity of at least one first ultrasonic sensor at at least one predefined time during ongoing operation is estimated using a first parameter which is dependent on a Q-factor valid at the time of manufacture and the Q-factor of the first ultrasonic sensor, as determined at the predefined time, and wherein the estimated sensitivity of the first ultrasonic sensor is used as a control variable to adapt the sensitivity of the first ultrasonic sensor and/or of at least one second ultrasonic sensor. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method according to the invention.
