The receiving position is accessible by a user access element for a user. A transfer device (20) transfers a reagent container between the primary and the secondary reagent container storages. The receiving position of the secondary reagent container storage is arranged in a circular manner and the second secondary reagent container storage is rotatably mounted. An independent claim is included for a method for operating an automatic analyzer with a reagent station. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reagenzstation (1) für ein automatisches Analysegerät mit einem ersten und einem zweiten Reagenzbehältervorrat (2, 10) und einer Transfervorrichtung (20), die Reagenzbehälter (16) zwischen dem ersten dem zweiten Reagenzbehältervorrat (2, 10) transferiert.
