The invention relates to molded parts made of a fiber composite material with a coated surface and to a method for producing same. A semi-finished fiber matrix product and a layer composite are provided in said method. The latter comprises a support film that is coated with a first coating on one side. The semi-finished fiber matrix product is brought into contact with the coated side of the layer composite in a planar manner under the effect of pressure and/or temperature. A molded part with a main part made of the fiber composite material and a surface made of the layer composite is thereby obtained.
