Summary:The suspension has a multi-layer leaf spring (1) made of composite material and designed as a longitudinal leaf spring, and a clamping device (11) i.e. bracket device, coupling an axle component i.e. suspension tube (15) of a driven live axle, to the leaf spring, where ends (8) of the leaf spring are coupled to a motor car over an attachment. The leaf spring has different cross-sectional dimensions along a longitudinal axis (9) of the leaf spring. The clamping device is arranged at the middle of the leaf spring and movable along the longitudinal direction of the spring. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Längsblattfeder, die für den Sonderfall des S-Schlages bei einem Bremsvorgang spannungsoptimiert ausgebildet ist. Hierzu besitzt die Längsblattfeder eine in Längsrichtung verlaufende verschiedene Querschnittsfläche, die insbesondere in einem mittigen Anbindungsbereich 5 größer ausgebildet ist, als in sich von dem Anbindungsbereich 5 erstreckenden Ästen 6.
