Summary:The invention provides a packaging container for an orthodontic mouthpiece which can safely carry a mouthpiece without damaging, can be easily unsealed, and can be used as a storage container after being unsealed. The packaging container (X) is constructed by a packaging container main body (A) made of plastic being provided with a plastic accommodating portion main body (1) having an accommodating portion (1a) for accommodating a mouthpiece having a U-shaped transverse transverse cross section, and a hinge portion (2) in a rear end of the accommodating portion main body (1), and a lid portion (3) via the hinge portion, and a label (B) made of paper or the like being adhered to an upper surface thereof so as to seal. The accommodating portion main body (1) is provided with a first flange portion (1b) provided around the accommodating portion (1 a) and forming as the flat shape as the lid portion (3) in combination with the accommodating portion (1 a), and second flange portions (1d) positioned at right and left side ends of the first flange portion (1 b) and extending in an outward direction from an upper end of each of step portions (1 c) having the same height as a thickness of the lid portion (3). Further, an engagement concave portion (1ba) engaging with an engagement portion (3a) of the lid portion (3) at a time of closing the lid is formed in a front portion in the center of the first flange portion (1 b), and the label (B) is adhered to upper surfaces of the lid portion (3) and the second flange portions (1d) so as to seal the container main body (A), and is unsealed by cutting off a cut line formed along each of boundary lines on the upper surface thereof.
