Summary: | The compensator (10) has a bus (13) in which input direct current voltage is allowed to provide reactive energy. An inverter (18) is arranged with a set of controllable electronic switches that is adapted to convert the input direct current voltage into intermediate alternating voltage. A regulation unit (22) is utilized for determining a value of current flowing in the inverter. An error between a reference value and the direct current voltage is determined by a transfer function that varies based on value of the direct current voltage. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing flicker in an alternative electrical supply network. |
