Summary: | Provided is an anode (105) formed from a metal alloy of aluminum that includes nickel. Aluminum is a light-reflective, electrically conductive metal, and nickel exhibits hole-injection properties upon oxidation. On at least part of the surface of the anode (105), a nickel precipitate (1051) has formed, and a nickel oxide layer (1053) has formed on the surface of the nickel precipitate (1051). Furthermore, an aluminum oxide layer (1052) has formed on the surface of an aluminum layer (1050). The nickel oxide layer (1053) is connected to an interlayer (108). Above the interlayer (108), a functional layer, which includes at least an organic light emitting layer, a cathode, etc. are laminated. |
