A sample test automation system for subjecting samples to various processes, the sample test automation system comprising a storage unit storing the samples while the samples of which process in the sample automation system has been finished are placed on sample trays; and an operation control unit carrying out operation and control of the whole sample automation system, wherein a tag for distinguishing the individual sample tray from the plurality of sample trays is attached to the sample tray, and storage means for causing information of the sample placed on the sample tray to correspond to the tag of the sample tray taken out from the storage unit and for storing the information. The sample test automation system is capable of reducing the workload of an operator and precisely carrying out necessary processes of each of samples without stagnation.
