Summary:The switching device has shifting arm (11), shift lever (12) and shift rod (13). The shift lever has a first free end (12a) for operating the shift lever and second end (12b) connected with shift rod for transmitting an actuating movement of shift lever on manual gearbox (15). A hinge (12c) located between ends of lever, is pivotally mounted about longitudinal axis of shifting arm. The hinge is spaced apart from longitudinal axis, so that the hinge is pivoted by pivoting movement of shifting arm about the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is included for a transmission assembly.
