Summary: | Veterinary composition for the treatment of heart deficiency in non-human mammalian subjects, comprises aldosterone antagonist, and vehicles, where the aldosterone antagonist is present in an effective therapeutic dose of greater than 1 mg/kg/day to less than 5 mg/kg/day, preferably 4 mg/kg/day, as a single dose. An independent claim is included for a veterinary kit for the treatment of heart failure in non-human subjects, comprising at least a compartment comprising a daily dose of the aldosterone antagonist of greater than 1 mg/kg/day to less than 5 mg/kg/day, preferably 4 mg/kg/day.
