Summary:A DNA intercalator detection system can include a filtration unit and control sample conditioner operably coupled with the filtration unit and an analytic unit operably coupled with the filtration unit and control sample conditioner and having an electronic chemical array (ECA) reaction component. A data processing unit is operably coupled with the analytic unit and configured to compare and determine a difference between electronic data of a test sample and a conditioned control sample from the ECA reaction component. The difference provides an indication of whether or not a DNA intercalator is present in the test sample.
