Summary:Cellulose insulating material (I), preferably fibrous cellulose insulating material comprises 88-97% of a mixture of paper fibers and wood fibers in a ratio of 80:20 to 20:80; and 3-12% of an additive comprising a flame retardant, a fungicide or a binder. Independent claims are included for: (1) the continuous process for the production of fibrous (I) comprising (a) providing cellulose fibers, (b) providing a fire protecting solution, (c) spraying the fire protection solution on the fibers, (d) drying the obtained material in air stream and (e) recycling dust contained in the exhaust stream; and (2) a device plant for continuously preparing (I) comprising one or more mill (M), which produces cellulose fibers, one or more arranged spray apparatus (S) comprising one or more additive solutions sprayed on the cellulose fibers and one or more arranged dryer (T), which is operated using hot air and adjusts the desired dryness degree of the produced (I), where the dusty air of the dryer is fed into the mill via one or more recycling pipeline (R) and optionally the pipeline is connected with an interim storage (Z).
