Summary:The head (1) has a permanently opened-bypass (51) for bypassing a filter element (12) i.e. filter insert. Compressed air flows through the filter element. A guiding surface (18) guides the air in guiding direction (22) toward the filter element. The bypass comprises a bypass opening arranged such that the air reaches the bypass opening from the guiding surface by redirection of the air from the guiding direction. An elastic guiding or passing element is elastically deformed by the flow of air with elastic circular segments or ring segments and designed as an integral component of a seal (14).
