Summary:The microscope (100) has a monitoring optical path (105) penetrating into a main lens (101) for visualizing an object area (108), and an optical coherence tomography (OCT) system (140) for recording an image of the area. The OCT system has an OCT scanning optical path (142), which is guided to the area over a scanning mirror arrangement (146). An optical unit (147) is provided between the arrangement and the lens, where the optical unit bundles the scanning optical path and transfers into the monitoring optical path, where the scanning optical path escapes from the arrangement.
