Summary:The converter (5) has an auxiliary converter (17) for compensating current flowing through all forward and backward paths (13). A compensation current path (18) is connected with one of output lines (8, 9) or intermediate potential lines and/or one of input lines (6, 7) at a side of the current path by a capacitor (Ce). The side of the current path lies against clock-controlled switches (S7, S8), and the intermediate potential lines conduct potential resting between the output lines or between the input lines. An inductor (Le) is provided in the current path.
