Summary:A brake caliper of a disk brake, includes a housing having a bore hole, in which an axially displaceable piston is arranged, and a shaft for actuation, which is supported so that it is rotatable and axially displaceable in the housing, and an adjusting device having a spindle to compensate for brake lining wear, an axial bearing being provided between the spindle and the shaft. For an improved wear resistance, it is proposed according to the invention that the axial bearing be integrally formed from a homogeneous material matrix.
